Etrange.

Requests and revelations as of late:
  • HEC Paris needs a physician-verified copy that my shots (for measles, mumps, typhoid, etc.) will be taken before I arrive on campus.
  • Oxford needs proof that I have $100,000 CDN lying around in my bank.
  • Dealing with trans-Pacific and trans-Atlantic transactions / communications, whilst located in Canada, has its own unique sense of logistical nightmare and pain.
  • Chinese relatives are a unique bunch.
  • I have been single for nearly two years. Maybe a Catholic nunnery future is in order (screw the MBA).
  • I am blogging at work. Twelve more weeks to go. Quitting by July 11 / 18.

When I lived in France, I had to pee in a cup to get a residence permit. They also took x-rays of my chest.

All this to stay there for 8 months!
