- HEC Paris needs a physician-verified copy that my shots (for measles, mumps, typhoid, etc.) will be taken before I arrive on campus.
- Oxford needs proof that I have $100,000 CDN lying around in my bank.
- Dealing with trans-Pacific and trans-Atlantic transactions / communications, whilst located in Canada, has its own unique sense of logistical nightmare and pain.
- Chinese relatives are a unique bunch.
- I have been single for nearly two years. Maybe a Catholic nunnery future is in order (screw the MBA).
- I am blogging at work. Twelve more weeks to go. Quitting by July 11 / 18.

When I lived in France, I had to pee in a cup to get a residence permit. They also took x-rays of my chest.
All this to stay there for 8 months!
